OUR ROOTS
From humble beginnings, our company has grown into the thriving enterprise it is today. Our journey began in 1980 as TFE Sales Marketing, a single proprietorship founded and managed by Tony U. Yap.

The name TFE itself embodies our family's dedication, representing Tony, Francisco Jr., and Eric — the three sons of Francisco Tan Yap Sr. It was our initial focus on general merchandise that laid the groundwork for the diverse enterprise we would become.
Just a year later, in 1981, Tony and his family made the pivotal decision to jumpstart the business into the corporation you know today. Armed with just one delivery truck and a single dedicated employee, Tony personally delivered foam and upholstery materials across Cebu City. This steadfast dedication and hands-on approach laid the foundations for our enduring commitment to service and quality.​
OUR PROGRESSION
Today, TFE boasts two offices in Cebu (Cebu City and Mandaue City), as well as a strategic warehouse in Metro Manila. This expanded presence allows us to efficiently serve a nationwide client base, supported by our robust importing capabilities from international partners in China, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, and beyond.
​Over the decades, TFE has meticulously cultivated a vast and specialized product line, catering to a wide array of industries including Sealants, Ceiling & Light Metal Framings, Construction & Industrial Supplies/Equipment and Office Furniture.
